So we created the Plug N Play Audio Upgrade Kit that:
In addition to the those three key points, the best feature of the Plug N Play Kit is that it doesn't change how you control the audio in your Evolution. You still use your touchscreen and buttons just as you did before, but now your Bluetooth, radio, and USB audio has more bass, has a cleaner high range, and has three times the volume capability.

Touchscreen Version Vs Bluetooth Version
The Touchscreen Version of this system ties the amplifier to the touchscreen, using the touchscreen as your head unit. So all of the functions your touchscreen provides (bluetooth, radio, microhpone, usb audio and video) will still work but your audio will play much louder with our plug n play kit installed. (But expect to hear a little bit of feedback, whine, popping, hissing coming from your speakers because the touchscreen provides a dirty audio signal)
However, if you want the best audio quality and volume level, we recommend choosing the Bluetooth version which will plug right in to either the Plus and Pro model of an Evolution. On the touchscreen version, we can only run the amp at half power because the touchscreen has such a bad audio signal that the speakers start to heavily distort at full volume if the amp is more than half way turned up. However, the bluetooth version includes a bluetooth receiver that connects directly to your phone, completely bypassing the touchscreen, and with our bluetooth receiver, we can turn the amp all the way up, and with the clear audio signal coming out of our bluetooth dongle, the system sounds twice as clean and can play twice as loud as the Plus version of the system. (Yes, if you have the Plus model with touchscreen and you buy the bluetooth version, you will lose radio, microphone and usb audio/video port). IF YOU WANT THE BEST POSSIBLE SOUNDING SYSTEM, WE'D RECOMMEND CHOOSING THE "BLUETOOTH VERSION". HOWEVER, ALL AUDIO FUNCTIONS ON SCREEN WILL BE BYPASSED. SO THE RADIO, THE PHONE MICROPHONE, AND THE ANY AUDIO THAT WOULD COME FROM SCREEN IF YOU'RE PLAYING MUSIC OR VIDEOS ON A THUMBDRIVE WILL NO LONGER WORK. YOUR SYSTEM WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY BLUETOOTH FROM YOUR PHONE IF YOU CHOOSE BLUETOOTH VERSION.
Speakers Vs No Speakers
You can choose to purchase just our plug n play kit without upgraded speakers but we'd still strongly recommend buying aftermarket speakers to upgrade your Evolutions sound. Our plug n play amp kit provides speakers with a much higher wattage and cleaner audio signal, but if the speakers aren't capable of producing a louder/cleaner sound, then the plug n play amp kit is useless. The factory speakers are not a co-axial speaker, meaning they don't have a tweeter and cone, they just have a cone. The Memphis MXA60L speakers we sell with our kit are a great sounding marine speaker that can deliver a quality and volume that is 3X of that of the factory system.
*These Memphis Speakers will come with an LED Ring that won't be installed but can be installed if you'd like to have LEDs in your speakers. The ring will will have 4 wires that will need hardwired to your led controller if you already have one (If you'd like a Plug n Play LED Option, check our SVR2 and GLD4 options out. Otherwise, we do not provide instructions or guidance on wiring the Memphis LED Rings because it's to difficult to explain over phone, email or text)
